Welcome to The Romanian Psychologists' Association website!
Re-activated in the year 2001, at the moment RPA comprises over 4000 members, hence setting itself up as the one Romanian psychologists' representative association at national level.
RPA has contributed to the development of the psychologists' movement in Romania, by applying for the profession of psychologist being legalized (Law 213/2004) and the Psychologists' College in Romania being formed, by getting involved in the national psychology conferences' organization (Cluj 2006, Calimanesti 2004, Neptun 2002). Furthermore, we come to the help of the members by keeping them informed about the various national and international psychology-related events, by editing a news network on the Internet. In order to support and stimulate the scientific life, RPA has launched an online psychology journal, The RPA Journal.
At the present time, RPA is making every effort to better represent the psychologists in Romania internationally. An important step is precisely that of launching the association's site in English.
Therefore, we are inviting our collegues abroad to skin over the information presented on this site in order to become more familiar with the association and our preoccupations, and should anyone be interested in collaborating in common projects or other events, do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
RPA President
Niculae Mitrofan
